Share your Addressbook

A number of tools have been developed to facilitate the sharing of contact information for OS X users. The tools are geared for small to medium sized environments which require individuals to contribute to, and access a centrally shared address book. Several iterations of the tools address different aspects and options. The projects rely heavily on input from the user community and support.

Address Book Server / Client

Share your contacts with other mac users on your network. Address Book Server also supports synchronisation over the internet from remote locations. Address Book Server uses web services to offer a central relational database accessible using Address Book Client.

Address Book X LDAP

Want to transfer contact information to a central LDAP server and keep the LDAP directory updated? This is exactly what ABxLDAP does. It is a companion product to Address Book Server as it does not offer all the rich features. However if you want to use LDAP then it will do the trick for you.
